Fun Radio to pay more than 10 million euros in damages to NRJ Group for having manipulated radio audience measurement in France

In January 2023, the Paris Commercial Court condemned Fun Radio and Métropole Télévision (Ediradio – RTL) for unfair competition for having broadcasted messages on the morning show of Fun Radio that have manipulated the measurements of radio audiences by Médiamétrie. Métropole Télévision has been condemned to pay NRJ Group damages of more than 10 million euros.

A CRA team including Laurent Flochel, Mikaël Hervé and Romain Bizet advised NRJ GROUP and their counsel Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier throughout the proceedings and provided economic and statistical expertise.
