BrusselsWe are looking to recruit interns for our Brussels office. We are accepting applications from candidates studying economics at either Master or PhD/DPhil level. Candidates should have a strong foundation in microeconomics, preferably with a specialisation in industrial economics and/or econometrics. A high degree of numeracy, a strong writing ability, some research experience and the ability to manipulate data are essential. Our internship will mirror our full-time Analyst role (see below). You will work closely with senior staff on projects across a variety of industries. Tasks will be both varied and interesting and will give the participant a greater understanding of what it is like to work as an economist at CRA.

Senior Associate
LondonPhDs applicants come in at the Senior Associate level. PhD applicants are expected to have a PhD from a top academic university in either economics or finance related subjects. We are particularly interested in hiring PhDs with experience working with large data sets and therefore empirical PhDs, regardless of the subject topic, are highly valued. For those with non-empirical PhDs a focus on Industrial Organization is an obvious advantage although not essential.
Successful PhD candidates, will be expected to rapidly take on genuine responsibility, assisting Partners and other senior staff by providing conceptual and practical input to competition case work as required. The role brings with it the possibility of working on some of the largest and most significant competition cases in Europe, playing a key role in the shaping of the cases.

Associate Principal/Principal
LondonApplicants for senior positions should have extensive and relevant experience preferably in economic/antitrust consultancy, as well as a strong academic background in economics. We are always interested in applications from candidates who have relevant experience and might therefore be suitable for a more senior position within us. The basic prerequisites for such candidates are the same as for entry-level positions, in that a strong academic background in economics is essential. However, candidates should also have professional experience in economic consultancy, competition/regulatory authorities, or other employment with relevance to our areas of work. Senior candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to manage more junior colleagues and to have extensive client contact at an early stage.
