Manipulation of radio audience measurements in France

NRJ Group filed a complaint against Fun Radio regarding manipulations of radio listening audience measurements. Media audience measurement in France is primarily carried out by Médiamétrie covering radio, television, cinema and internet.

A CRA Team including Laurent Flochel, Mikaël Hervé and Romain Bizet advised NRJ Group in the proceedings. The economic analysis involved complex econometric and statistical analyses to estimate the impact of the Fun Radio’s conduct on radio audience measurements in France.
