Michiel Paris

Dr. Michiel Paris is a Principal in the Competition Practice of Charles River Associates, working between Amsterdam and Brussels.  His work focuses on intellectual property disputes and antitrust.

He has extensive expertise analysing economic issues in litigations involving intellectual property, both FRAND and non-FRAND encumbered.  He has worked on high profile cases in the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, and India.  His industry expertise includes telecommunications (cellular, video and audio codec SEPs), health care and tech.

Dr. Paris completed his doctoral studies in economics at Cornell University, specializing in applied microeconomics and public finance. Dr. Paris also has experience working as an economist in the tech sector.  His working languages are English and Dutch.
