Aschkan Mery

Aschkan (“Asch”) works as a senior associate in Charles River Associates’s European Competition Practice. He is an economist advising clients on antitrust issues.

His most recent work includes damage estimation in digital and multi-sided markets (e.g. mass media companies, ad tech firms, specialised search engines).

Prior to joining CRA, Asch was an economist specialised in the micro-modelling of industry responses to climate shocks.

Asch obtained a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, in Florence (Italy). He also received a MSc in Mathematics from the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETH), in Zurich (Switzerland).
