Aschkan Mery

Aschkan (“Asch”) works as aa Associate Principal in Charles River Associates’ European Competition Practice. He is an economist advising clients on antitrust issues.

His most recent work includes damage estimation in digital and multi-sided markets (e.g. mass media companies, ad tech firms, specialised search engines).

Prior to joining CRA, Asch was an economist specialised in the micro-modelling of industry responses to climate shocks.

Asch obtained a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute, in Florence (Italy). He also received a MSc in Mathematics from the Swiss Institute of Technology (ETH), in Zurich (Switzerland).
