Uber/Cornershop
On December 11, 2020, the Mexican antitrust agency Comisión Federal de Competencia Económica (“COFECE”) unconditionally approved Uber’s acquisition of a majority stake in Cornershop. The transaction had previously been cleared unconditionally in Chile by the Fiscalía Nacional Económica.
A CRA team consisting of Oliver Latham, Cristina Caffarra, Muath Masri, Jakub Drabik, Saul Mendelsohn and Javier Brugués advised Uber through the transaction.
