Andrea Cariati

Andrea Cariati is a Consulting Associate in the Brussels Antitrust & Competition Practice of CRA, which he joined in September 2025. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from LUISS University in Rome.

During his time at the University of St. Gallen, Andrea worked as a trainee at the European Banking Authority in Paris. He was also a research assistant at both the Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research (SIAW-HSG) and the Sciences Po Department of Economics, where he focused on applied microeconomics.

Since joining CRA, Andrea has worked on a variety of merger, damage estimation, and antitrust cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities. His work has spanned multiple industries, including streaming services, pharmaceuticals, and digital advertising.

His working languages are Italian and English.
